Viral Val

Well that was exciting! Apparently I went viral and didn’t feel a thing!! All part of Charlotte’s Web I guess. If you missed it, just check out JinkersFarm on Instamagig. Apparently 80,000 people like me!!!

The weather is warming up here, so I’m very grateful for the beautiful tree coverage that we have and the allt that we got to walk in last week.
Highland Coo fact: Whilst I am the classic Coo colour that people have come to know and love, Betty is actually much closer to the original most common colouring. It was Queen Victoria and her whacky ways that sought to breed more ginger into the coat colour, and eventually made that the most prevalent colouring. Betty says that she is the OG Highland Coo and I’m more of a fashion piece. I’m not exactly sure how I feel about that….
Betty’s the moo who’s in black
And sometimes she likes to talk smack
Whilst Val is the Ginge
Who says orange is in,
Betty says blacks coming back.

Wisdom of the Week: A wise man gets mair frae his faes than a fool frae his friends ( a wise person learns more from their enemies than a fool learns from their friends). This is an interesting one. It is a long time Scots wisdom, but also appears in many other cultures, including going back to the days of that confused bloke Plutarch, who didn’t know if he was Greek or Roman. Anyway, it says that the wise coo will learn from defeats and criticism and become better through challenges, whereas the foolish coo won’t even listen to the advice of friends. Let’s face it though, at the end of the day, nobody hates a coo, so we don’t have any enemies, just lots of nice friends.
Anyway, that’s it from me for today, and until we next meet, Lang may yer lum reek.
