I saw the funniest thing today!, but before I tell you about that, I need to introduce you to more of the herd. The hounds. These guys are literally mini-me’s for Betty and I. They are the same colouring as us, they are quite shaggy, and the best part, in my mother tongue, the word for dog is Cu!! The poor little things just don’t have horns. Their names are Isobel and Theodore, or Izzy and Teddy. Teddy is pretty chill. He tends to not say much, but when he does, everyone listens. Izzy on the other hand is a nut bag. The kid is on pingers for sure. She’s a likeable lass, but cannot sit still. In fact when she does try to sit still, she shakes like a crazy thing. We’ve been checking each other out through the fence only so far, and that’s close enough for me for now. I think we’ll get along pretty well though.

Anyway, funny stuff. Izzy and Ted went for a ride in the black ute yesterday, and Izzy comes back with the Cone of Shame. She’s a bucket head hahahaha. You should have seen her bumping into things. We laughed so hard. She told Betty that they are all the rage in Paris, but I’m not buying that.

Wisdom for the week: A blate cat makes a prood mouse. This is about leadership, the natural order of things and not being lazy. If the cat doesn’t do it’s job, the mouse takes advantage of the situation and the natural balance is upset. If I don’t let Betty know that I have priority over the food tub, she won’t know that she needs to let the pesky sheep know that she has priority over it either. Just imagine the chaos! Leaders should lead, so that when other reach leadership, they too will know what to do.

What have I learned this week? Interestingly, on the back of this week’s ancient wisdom is a more contemporary quote that I came across from Winston Churchill. “ The difference between hoomans and animals is that animals never allow the dumbest of the herd to lead them”  Take from what you will for your situation, but I think Jinkers is in good hands 😉
